Neon Chevrons.

I’m not going to lie, I became seriously fed up before I did this manicure. I spent close enough to TWO hours using my pinking scissors and scotch tape to try and get some equal thickness chevron stickers! If anybody else has done this, hats off to you, you have the patience of a saint 🙂 I have decided that next time I am just going to purchase some nail vinyls from somewhere (suggestions anybody?) After that gruelling amount of time I actually managed to make twelve “perfect” chevron stickers, after that it was back to plain sailing. I love neon polishes, especially yellow and orange, I feel these colours really pop when placed on top of a white base. I painted all my nails with two coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White. Once that polish had dried, I applied two coats of Models Own – Luis Lemon and added a black rhinestone on the bottom of each nail (you can find similar here).

When the nail polish for the chevron nails are completely dry you can then carefully place the chevron strips onto your nails, I used three for each nail. Once you are happy with the placing go over them with black nail polish. You need to remove the strips whilst the black polish is still wet, carefully remove the chevron strips using a pair of tweezers or your fingers, I prefer to use tweezers so I don’t smudge my nails with my fingers. Finish with a topcoat and you’re done. A lovely bright mani that’s perfect for summer days.

Don’t forget to follow 😝 I’ll be uploading a neutral version of chevrons soon 🙂

If you’d like some suggestions for nail art that you may have, maybe you have a wedding coming up or a party that you would like inspiration for… If you’d like my help, please leave a message in the box below and we can sort something out together.

Thanks loves ❤ @perfectly_nailed 😘
