so, if you guys follow me on Twitter, you’ll see that my nails broke, again! Never mind. I’m quite liking them short recently, I just wish my ring finger didn’t rip so far down that it hurts 😓
My mother-in-law brought my boyfriend and I a lovely bunch of daffodils, I love them, they bring just the perfect amount of brightness into a room and they look truly beautiful. I’m really into floral nail art recently and really wanted to do a contrasting manicure against the flowers, so I came up with this pink sparkly design.
The polishes I used for this manicure are: Barry M Cotton, Rose Hip, Pink Punch and Greenberry. The roses were created using a small dotting tool and a mix of cotton and pink punch, adding cotton first then swirling pink punch into it. the leaves were created using a small nail art brush. I created a negative space half moon on the pinky and index fingers and finished the manicure off using a little nail glue and swarovski crystals. I did a very subtle gradient on the ring finger using Cotton and Rose Hip. For the gradient I used a fabulous skin protector from Rainbow Connection called Zap. This stuff is great and I will be writing a separate blog post about this shortly 😊
I hope you’re all having a fabulous bank holiday weekend 😘
